Youth Empowerment Services (YES) Practice Manual
The Youth Empowerment Services (YES) Practice Manual project may be the most difficult project I've ever completed. The YES system of care is the result of a three decades long lawsuit and is part of the final settlement agreement. There were a lot of stakeholders involved in this project including, different state agencies, plaintiff attorneys, and parents. All of these entities held strong opinions about the new system of care and often did not agree with one another. I was brought on to manage, write, and format this manual after two other failed attempts. I am very proud to have published this manual and satisfied all the stakeholders.

I used InDesign to develop the format for this document. It is available as a printable PDF and as an e-manual. Both are available at yes.idaho.gov.

DBH Hiring Guide
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Behavioral Health underwent a significant transformation and reorganization starting in 2021 and continuing through 2023. During this period of transition, I produced change management communications, including this hiring guide for managers.

I used InDesign to create this guide and incorporated left-side links to make it easier to navigate through the document. The PDF below is part of the larger guide.
Idaho Behavioral Health Council Workforce Plan
Idaho Governor Brad Little formed the Idaho Behavioral Health Council in 2019 to work on expanding the behavioral health workforce in Idaho. I worked with council members and the project manager to develop a two year plan.

For this project, the style was designed to mirror other Idaho Department of Health and Welfare documents.
